Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.

Hi, I'm Louise Burridge
Owner of OuTcomes Therapy
I am so privileged to report that I have had the opportunity to work with children and families for 30 years. My career started as a camp counsellor for a wonderful summer daycamp called Camp Sunsation in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Not only did I have fun and learn a tremendous amount from the campers and their families, but it was actually a parent in this summer program that first introduced me to the wonderful world of occupational therapy.
Fast forward 22 years of school-based occupational therapy practice, the opportunity to work as a Student Services Coordinator and Superintendent of Programs and Instruction at Ministry of Education, I am now the owner of OuTcomes Therapy a private occupational therapy clinic for children and youth.
As an occupational therapist, I continue to enjoy diversity in my practice. On a monthly basis, I travel to remote fly-in communities in the Athabasca Basin, I continue to work in a variety of provincially-funded and federally-funded schools, I embrace opportunities to teach pre-service teachers at the University of Regina, and I get diverse opportunities to consult with community-based organizations and ministries.
Regardless of the hat that I wear, I am passionate about helping children and families achieve their goals and supporting a sense of inclusion and belonging for all.
In my down time, I love traveling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
